Confused.. not?
Time to start tying loose end in my training syllabus. Today it was simulated instrument conditions. It’s been over a year since I flew list time with the hood, and it was well over six months when I last time ‘played’ X-Plane so it didn’t went as smooth as I’d like to, but I managed. Today we added some additional point to it – tracking VOR under the hood.
After that we did some introduction to ‘recovery from unusual attitudes’. Terry took the controls and tried to get me confused. He didn’t try too hard as it was supposed to be just an introduction. But at the end I started to feel a little bit not so sure about where the up and where the down is. But I followed his teaching and quickly recovered the airplane. Next time he’ll try a little bit harder so I’m really confused before he lets me to fly it again. We’ll see.
As usual the track:
Two side notes:
1. Terry wanted me to show him one of those ‘greasers’ (the wind was calm again today) and I managed to do one nice one ![]()
2. I did two landings today making my grand total 250. Quarter of a thousand – in just 40h of flying.
1.1h/0.6h inst : 2 to/ldg logged
41.9h/1.4h inst : 250 to/ldg total
